At the heart of Goemans' charitable giving is the idea that being a good corporate citizen is an ongoing responsibility. By helping to create stronger communities, we enhance the quality of life for our customers and associates alike. As a neighbour to our customers in hundreds of communities throughout Southern Ontario, we know that being a good neighbour means also providing for our customers beyond our store's walls.
Haiti Earthquke Relief
Goemans would like to congratulate and thank our generous staff in helping us to raise $10,000 for the Haitian Relief Fund! A donation on behalf of Goemans Appliances and our staff will be sent to the Canadian Red Cross.

Relay for Life 2010
For the 3rd year running the Goemans Girls team has participated in the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay For Life in Hamilton. The Relay for Life is an overnight non-competitive relay that celebrates cancer survivors and pays tribute to loved ones. It's a night of fun, friendship, and fundraising to beat cancer.
Funds raised through Relay For Life support the Canadian Cancer Society's mission to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life of Canadians living with cancer. The money goes towards research, information services, support programs, and advocating for Canadians.
The Goemans Girls team raised a total of $3710 this year. This was raised through individual pledges as well as fundraisers such as BBQ's and bake sales.

Home for Dinner
The Goemans staff taking part in the Home For Dinner Program. The program provides community groups, local businesses and other organizations the opportunity to prepare a home-cooked meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

There are so many worthwhile charities that it is impossible for Goemans to help out all of them - as much as we'd like to. Due to the volume of requests, donation requests must meet specific criteria.
If you are interested in applying for a donation or sponsorship from Goemans please fill out the form below. If the form is not 100% complete your request will automatically be rejected.
Please note that all requests must be received no less than 8 weeks prior to the start of the event. If you meet all of the criteria and Goemans can help out we will be in contact.
